What They’re Talking About us

To begin, I’m diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder II and Depression. Throughout the years, I have been to many different psychiatrists. I tend to stay with my current provider for as long as possible, for fear of having to explain my circumstances again or start all over in terms of my treatment. After being a patient of my previous psychiatrist for a little over two years, I decided that it was time to find another. I started to feel like just a number to my psychiatrist, and no longer a human being. This prompted me to search for someone and somewhere new. I came across Lighthouse Psychiatry via Google and I was impressed by the many positive reviews, and decided to try them out. I can honestly say that my very first interaction with this office was exceptional.

I have been to so many places in my lifetime for my mental health and have never found a place like lighthouse!! The people I have interacted with especially my therapist have changed my life in such an amazing way. I will never go anywhere else and will never stop seeing them even when I’m doing good because I will never stop trying to improve my mental health. I’m not embarrassed to say we all need help and this is the place I highly recommend, coming from a person who’s been in therapy since the age of 9 years and now in my 40’s I’d consider myself some what of an expert on mental health facilities and providers!!! I recommend lighthouse to any and everyone looking for help, they are the exception to the rule and truly care about their patients!

From our first visit I really felt connected to my provider and from that moment on she has been such a benefit to my life. She is authentic, compassionate, empathetic and kind..but what really stood out to me from day one is how incredibly smart she is. She doesn’t come across as a geek, but I would always be amazed how much information she would have on medications. She could literally recite from memory what studies had shown on certain medicines. Her listening skills are impeccable. She’s has an incredible memory of this patients history..All the while drilling down through extraneous data in that super smart brain of hers, to determine the appropriate solution for my issues. I tragically lost my daughter.
